About:

Huntington Crossing, the project name used by developer Lennar Multifamily Communities, was a planned multifamily apartment building on Metroview Parkway, across the street from The Parker, and one block north of Huntington Metro Station. However, Lennar has shelved the project and requested the Rezoning application be deferred indefinitely.

Plans for Huntington Crossing called for 360 units on 6.32 acres. The project included screened parking (the parking garage faces the Metro rail tracks), a central courtyard, pedestrian connections, a waterfront park, and was to provide extra capacity for the county’s Huntington Levee project.  The western terminus of the levee meets the northern boundary of the property line.
