The SFDC Board said goodbye to our President Walter Clarke and board members Karen Pohorylo and John Thillman. Walter chaired his final board meeting as President and a board member of SFDC, he will become the next Mount Vernon District Planning Commissioner in April.
Both Karen and John joined SFDC over 12 years ago. Each has served in their communities, as leaders of their civic associations, and on the Mount Vernon Council. Their local roots and knowledge, combined with their expertise in land use, will be difficult to replace. We wish them well.
