Join SFDC and our partners at  Fairfax County on October 31 at 7:30am for “Embark on Opportunity” at Belle Haven Country Club and learn how the Embark Richmond Highway Comprehensive Plan Amendment will shape the future of the Richmond Highway Corridor. Fairfax County Supervisors Dan Storck and Jeff McKay will give brief welcome remarks to the guests.

The event will begin with an interactive tour of the corridor as envisioned by Embark led by Office of Community Revitalization Deputy Director Elizabeth Hagg, one of the lead planners of Embark Richmond Highway. Following the tour, Barbara Byron, OCR Director, will moderate a panel of stakeholders, developers and land-owners with projects along the Richmond Highway Corridor.

Opportunity Zones: Scott Sizer,  Fairfax County P3/Joint-Ventures Policy Coordinator, will highlight the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Economic Revitalization Zones and the Federal Government’s four Economic Opportunity Zones located along the corridor.
