Made in Fairfax: Small Scale Production

Furniture, custom jewelry, textiles, baking, coffee roasting and 3D printing -these are all examples of the kinds of artisanal manufacturing and small-scale production that are on rise, bring new vibrancy to the communities where they reside. Fairfax County is considering how to support and grow this business sector that is becoming increasingly popular in today’s “maker” culture. The event is FREE of charge!

Please join us for the Made in Fairfax Forum to hear from Ilana Preuss of Recast City – a national leader in the small-scale production industry – and discuss how Fairfax County’s creative entrepreneurs, property owners and residents could benefit from this innovative blend of economic and community development. The forum is open to all residents, businesses and property owners/investors in Fairfax County.
