A new family property featuring 126 units of affordable housing will be located a block from the Huntington Metro in Alexandria, Virginia (Fairfax County).

Following the demolition of the three existing structures on the site, Wesley Housing will construct 126 units of affordable housing along with 7,500 sq. ft. of office space that will become home to the organization’s new main office.

Approval of 139 affordable multi-family dwelling units and 3,534 square feet of retail space at an overall FAR of 2.99. A PCA was approved to add 7,500 square feet of office use.

Current building on the corner of Biscayne and Huntington Ave and built in 1950, consists of 12 units and 2 vacant duplexes.

The Arden will consist of 126 units, two buildings, with a small retail space and office. Building one will include 39 units reserved at 60% AMI, 32 units at 50% AMI, 8 units at 40% AMI. While building two will include 46 units at 60% AMI, one unit at market rate. Underground parking.
